Job Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop yourskills, progress within the company, and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.Your responsibilities as the Financial Accountant will include:

  • Assist with statutory accounts preparation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the audit process, liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
  • Treasury and cash flow reporting
  • Payroll audits
  • Intercompany transaction reconciliation
  • Maintain and reconcile control accounts
  • Review and update policies, procedures and put into action
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide ad-hoc accounting advice to the business
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects
What you will need to be considered for the Financial Accountant position:
  • Previous experience in financial accounting, including control accounts, financial statement preparation, and audit processes
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (IFRS, UK GAAP, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills
