Job Description

Prescient Group is partnered with a well-established and highly respected construction multidisciplinary consultancy, with offices throughout the UK. We are recruiting an experienced PR and Communications specialist to join the highly professional and welcomingteam.The company is award-winning and is driven by the values that are at the core of all decisions. The firm has growth plans over the next few years, so it’s a great time to join. You will be joining an existing marketing team.This is a newly created role in line with growth and will focus on the transition of moving outsourced PR to an in-house function.You will be working in a consultancy company that is driven by quality of service and high standards for details. You will receive full support, investment, and coaching from an existing supportive team from day one.This role will enable someone to embrace creativity, and writing skills and work to deliver a strategic marketing plan.Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience in the B2B construction sector and understands terminology and processes.

  • Research, develop, and implement new and existing marketing and communications plans, digital platforms, and technologies whilst being innovative, forward-thinking, and appropriate to a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a PR and a social media strategy.
  • Management of the social media feeds
  • Manage all PR and social channels, assisting with the creation and designing of engaging content; providing analysis on performance
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of the external website and internal staff intranet ensuring content is accurate, and up to date and measuring its effectiveness through Google Analytics.
  • Set up, control, and evaluate the return on investment of social media and paid for ad campaigns.
  • Oversee Google AdWords and SEO.
  • Work closely with key Business Development and the wider Marketing team to provide in-house graphic design for online and offline channels, ensuring all marketing materials that are produced are effective, and engaging.
This job would suit someone with the following background:
  • At least 2 years’ experience within a communications role which includes dealing with local, regional, national, and trade press.
  • At least 2 years experience in producing web content and managing an organization’s social media presence.
  • Experience in graphic design, designing electronic and printed material.
  • Someone who is flexible and is happy to travel to UK sites and attend events on occasion
