Job Description

Contracts Manager£40,000 to £45,000 plus Bonus & BenefitsColchesterTelecommunicationsOur client is seeking a fully or partly qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply to join their expanding finance team. The individual in this role will be accountable for making sure the company enters into advantageous agreements.We believe this position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to advance in their Procurement profession. This is a fantastic chance to shape the role to your own strengths and grow with the company as it continues to expand.

  • Examining and agreeing on terms and conditions of contracts to guarantee advantageous terms for the company.
  • Overseeing the entire contract process, including creating RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs and assessing proposals.
  • Keeping track of and reporting on contract execution and compliance.
  • Communicating with internal parties to ensure contracts are consistent with company policies.
  • Identifying potential contract hazards and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Settling and resolving conflicts with suppliers or partners.
  • Managing relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure the company is getting the best possible deal.
  • Analysing the requirements, duties, and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure they align with the companys goals and industry regulations.
  • Overseeing contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Investigating potential business partners and their background before drafting or signing contracts.
  • Checking on the implementation and performance of signed contracts.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for commercial matters between the company, its employees, vendors, and contractors
An exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager with the following.
  • CIS part or fully qualified
  • Telecom or Utilities experience
  • Working knowledge of contract laws and corporate policies.
  • NEC Contract management (desirable)
