My client is seeking an 3rd line engineer to join their IT Helpdesk team and work with their IT Projects professional services team in Colchester, Essex.The successful candidate will provide a wide variety of IT services to their customers predominantly focused on Microsoft, VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, Cisco, and SonicWall technologies. This will include project planning, management and implementation as wellas issue resolution & consultancy services as required. You will also be required to assist their IT Helpdesk Engineers as a point of escalation.Experience in as many of the following areas as possible is desirable:• Worked in an MSP (Managed service provider) environment• Proven history of successful consultancy, project planning & implementation• 3rd line technical skills in Microsoft Windows Server technologies• 3rd line technical skills in scoping & implementing Intel based server hardware• 3rd line technical skills in LANs, WANs, Firewalls, VPNs, Cisco preferred.• Virtualisation (both Hyper-V & VMWare), Storage, Disaster Recovery, Scoping hardware requirements• Windows Server, Exchange Server, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Office, Office 365 Migrations• 3rd line technical skills in storage systems, NetApp preferable.• 3rd Line technical skills in Citrix XenApp.You will have access to multiple training platforms and they will cover Microsoft examinations costs.Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
