Job Description

A Quality Manager with a background in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry is required for a large organisation based in Central Belt Scotland. The role requires a strong leader who can manage all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring products meet therequired standards and regulations.Client DetailsOur client is a leading player in the industrial/manufacturing metal work sector, with a global presence and a commitment to innovation, the company produces high-quality products and services that are trusted by clients worldwide.Description

  • Develop, implement and manage key quality performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
  • Oversee product testing to guarantee the quality of production output.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvement processes.
  • Respond to customer complaints, ensuring proper corrective actions are met.
  • Lead and manage a team of circa 6 heads, promoting a culture of high performance.
  • Control and manage the department budget.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
ProfileA successful Quality Manager should have:
  • Relevant degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • We require someone that has experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing processes like, laser cutting, forming, welding and paint processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance standards and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team.
