Waking Night Childrens Residential Support WorkerPermanent and full timeCoalville, LeicestershireWorking within a children and young persons residential home£23,920 - £28,6004 off, 4 off / 10pm - 8.15amOvertime opportunities including night and day shiftsThis organisation offers huge career progression opportunities and fantastic developmentZG Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Waking Night Childrens Residential Support Worker to work full time and permanent.We are currently on an exciting and innovative journey alongside Leicestershire County Council to deliver a range of childrens homes for our most vulnerable young people ensuring they are able to stay close to home. We are looking for committed individualswho have a passion for working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and are vulnerable to sexual exploitation.To apply;We strongly prefer candidates with a driving licenceIdeally you will have experience with children and young people (this could have been gained through employment or personal)Ideally you will have awareness of factors impacting on and issues facing vulnerable children and young people (poverty, disabilities ect)Ideally you will have worked in a similar setting, but this is not essentialIt is essential to be willing to work hard and ensure all children are safeguarded at all times and to complete a Level 3 in Children and Young People, which will be paid by the organisation.This role is a very important and life changing role where you can assist children and young people in their walks of life.
