DC Project Manager Monday - Friday / 8.30am - 5pm VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional DC Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave within the team. Lets Talk about the Role As the DC Project Manager you will support the site improvement plan and ideationpipeline to ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, on budget and with effective stakeholder management across the VF business. The role works with key stakeholders in DC Operations, the DC Flow Room and our Engineering Teams and external stakeholderssuch as automation providers, brand teams and central functions. How You Will Make a Difference * Ensure compliance to all site Health and Safety, security and environmental policies * Work closely with the site HSE team to deliver projects in line with legislation* Delivery and maintaining project documentation to a good standard. * Support a culture of Continuous Improvement using CI principles. * Build cost and budget control into the project plans and manage the time and delivery of projects so the impact to additionalcosts is mitigated * Measure the benefit of process improvements through a financial pay-back to the business. * Work alongside stakeholders to deliver projects on time, and to satisfactory completion in line with the requirements * Monitor risks and issuesand follow through with escalation when required. Skills for Success You should be someone who has an interest in a Project Management role with: * Previous exposure to working to project deadlines. * Strong communication skills who is able to communicateinformation to different audiences, clearly and concisely * Good peer to peer management, confident in building relationships for both internal and external teams * A Strong analytical background, is able to understand data and is a good problem solver * Someunderstanding of the functionality and operation of warehouse control systems (WCS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for automated distribution centres * Previous use of Manhattan PkMS WMS and an Automation Warehouse Control System (WCS) such as TGWCommander would be advantageous Whats in it For You Were in the business of unleashing human potential, driven by the ideas, energy and commitment of our people.
