A leading software house in Leicestershire are growing across multiple teams in their IT function and are looking for an ambitious 2nd Line Application Support Analyst to further bolster their team!As the 2nd Line Application Support Analyst, you will be providing 2nd Line support across their market leading, bespoke applications. You will deal with a broad range of issues and will become a subject matter expert across multiple industry leading applications. The software you will be supporting is for the police so you must be happy to go through an SC clearance check. To be suitable for this role you MUST be passionate about technology and a real team player.ROLE: 2nd Line Application Support SALARY: up to £30,000 + pluralsite account for continuous development and learning, fantastic training opportunities, 25 days hol, pension, private healthcare, free parking, flexible working, stand up desks, summer fetes and more!Duties and responsibilities:-Support bespoke applications and become the subject matter expert-Support 1st Line when required-Contribute and provide ideas to the development function -Troubleshoot infrastructure and system usage support calls-Investigate the SQL database -To assist in the creation, review and updating of any Technical/Installation and Configuration manualsEssentials:- Full UK driving license and car or working towards one- 5 years continuous UK address history - Proficiency in administering servers OS- An understanding of databased MSSQL and Oracle The client provides an excellent working environment with a friendly, collaborative team to learn from.
