Job Description

Business Development Manager- Regional SalesCompetitive salary + quarterly commission scheme with an OTE of 30% of salary + car or £7,900 allowance + BUPA for self & family + 25 days holiday + life assuranceAre you a quality sales professional with a track record selling plant hire services to the Film & Media sector Would you like to become a sector specialist Would you like the chance to work for the market leader in powered access, with an industry leadingfleet and slick back-office operationsYoud be our subject matter expert for the Film & Media sector, owning the delivery of sales growth targets by driving incremental sales with existing clients and winning new logo business within this flourishing and fast moving sector.Responsibilities: -

  • To develop an account overview, including work schedule, timescales and budgeted revenue and profitability forecasts for each key client within your portfolio.
  • Maintain a shared record of the clients contacts, current projects and pipelines, any supply chain contact details and account progress using the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and all other required recording and measurement tools provided.
  • To identify and analyse potential new sources of business that fall into the categories of new markets including major projects and large multi site industries.
  • Have a strategic plan for your portfolio of key accounts, ensuring the business is fully updated on progress with key accounts and consult with the business any additional operational or sales support required to support a key account.
  • To oversee the high level actions and targets and measure these against results achieved..
  • To design fresh commercial initiatives that give Nationwide Platforms a competitive edge and to create the opportunity of new revenue and sector agreements.
  • To project manage all aspects of account set up and monitoring, including customer reports and ongoing reviews.
  • Provide regular feedback concerning market and industry trends and progress on account development.
  • To contribute to budget creation.
About you: -
  • Proven track record of sales to the film & media markets (production companies, TV studios etc.), preferably selling plant hire services, though other high volume short sales-cycle backgrounds with sector experience will be considered.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
  • A demonstrable knowledge of and interest in the film & media market.
  • Great at building internal teams to support customer requirements.
  • Experience of creating successful bids/pitches.
