Job Description

Experienced Warehouse Operative required for a manufacturing company in Clevedon - BS21. Ideally situated by M5 junction 21, an easy commute for anyone living in Bridgwater, Cheddar, Bristol or Newport.

  • Monday - Thursday 8:15 to 17:15; Fridays 8:30 to 13:00
  • £24,000 per annum
  • Excellent overtime rates after 38.5hrs - weekdays x1.33. Saturdays x1.5, Sundays x2

About the job
  • Goods in - unload deliveries and move them to their designated location.
  • Inspect selected goods received, verify and approve whenever necessary
  • Manage computerised stock control system and record all movements into and out of stores
  • and production
  • Kit and issue stock to production
  • Print documents including manuals and electrical drawings
  • Organise and undertake stock checks.
  • Work closely with Purchasing department on stock management.
  • Attend monthly purchasing meeting
  • Final inspection, Packing and Despatch of finished goods
  • Load despatches of goods.
The right candidate
  • Background in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics or factory industries
  • Previous experience of forklift operation, or willing to learn (training provided)
  • IT literate, comfortable using warehouse management systems and Microsoft office
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting
