Were hiring forsupport workers at our Childrens and Young Persons Short Breaks service in Clevedon We are seeking support workers for our short breaks service in Clevedon, where we support children and young people aged between 14 and 25 for overnight stays to develop independence skills as part of our pathways to adulthood service.Were looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!As a children and young adult support worker, youll be flexible to support across the week including pick up and drop off at school/college, as well as weekends, support after school and in the school holidays. You will work on a 1-1 basis to develop andwork towards individualised outcomes, these may be based around manging money, socialising, cooking, cleaning, everyones pathway will be different and you will be a key part in preparing them for adulthood.Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned for the people we support such as swimming, bowling, sports lessons and the cinema to name a few.The support you provide will be centred around each persons values, preferences and needs.
