Job Description

The Stock and Systems Manager will be responsible for maintaining stock levels in the UK and with Global 3PL partners delivering agreed service levels whilst overseeing all Logistics systems.Client DetailsMy client is in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.   • Responsible for the management of Planning and Operations Admin Team, including performance management, setting and adherence to KPIs and monitoring time with the Syntegro system
  • Manage the WMS to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained
  • Monitor the WMS to ensure an accurate account of Goods in to Goods out is monitored
  • Responsible for the productivity department; with collaboratively with the Supply Chain Engineer to deliver department KPIs
  • Manage a team of planners to ensure the effective planning of 3PL transport has been carried out
  • Responsible for ensuring correct stock levels in the UK DC and the other 3PL oversees to finished products, spare parts and consumables
  • Manage the introduction of new articles, promotion listing and delisting stock
  • Understand the development to new systems required by the customer
  • Lead on improvement projects to continuously seek new or improved methods of working to improve efficiency, monitoring KPIs to improve productivity standards
  • Participate in group projects as required bringing in systems knowledge
  • Responsible for the maintenance of stock accuracy including effective co-ordinating of stocktake

  • Previous experience of being a proactive people manager
  • Extensive knowledge of having worked in a Warehouse environment and having worked with a WMS
  • Experience of using Supply Chain systems to manage inventory
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and motivate
  • Must be able to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement
  • Commercially astute with the ability to focus to business plans
  • Good understanding of HR having previously conducting 1-2-1s and procedures
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Highly IT literate with strong Excel skills
