SEND Caseworker - AdministratorClevedonContract £11.50 PAYE P/HAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a SENC Caseworker to work in Castlewood within the Education Service. TH postholder will be responsible for the administrative processes of the Education Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan) application and assessment processesand supporting the SEN officers with this work. Caseworkers are required to give a practical and advisory service to families and professionals around the SEN EHC Plan assessment process and use specialist knowledge that will be acquired through practicalexperience and/or qualifications. This role includes gathering key information from parents, young people, education providers, health and social care agencies and other relevant professionals; liaising with education providers around the annual review of EHC Plans and processing the paperworkfrom these; the maintenance and updating of the SEN database and electronic filing systems, running reports and other associated and general administrative duties. Staff within this role must have a clear understanding of the legislative timescales and processesinvolved and the impact of ensuring all timescales are met. Caseworkers will be largely unsupervised on a day to day basis but with available advice from managers. Skills and Experience:
