Quality InspectorAerospace ProductsPermanent RoleSalary £30-31k inclusive of shift allowanceDouble Day shift05:50-14:00 and 13:5022:00 Monday to ThursdayFridays 05:50-11:20 and 11:10-16:40.If you are an experienced quality inspector with a background working in the aerospace industry, then this could be the ideal new role for you. This is a permanent role operating on a double day shift of earlies and lates and would suit someone with experienceof working in a manufacturing and production environment with experience of quality inspection to AS9102 standards.The company offer competitive salary and a great working environment so if you are interested, please apply today and one of the team at Reed will call you back.Key Responsibilities and ActivitiesInspection and measurement of aerospace componentsCompletion of relevant reports and paperworkSupport manufacturing process requirementsWork to aerospace quality standardsLiaise with manufacturing personnel to aid the successful resolution of all quality issues.Actively participate and support Manufacturing ExcellenceSkills and ExperienceExperience in inspection/measurement of aerospace componentsAbility to use a wide range of inspection equipmentincluding micrometers, DTIs, verniers, air gauges.Ability to interpret technical drawings.Understanding of geometric tolerancingAbility to produce FAIRs to AS9102 standardsExperience of working in a Manufacturing/Production environmentAbility work to standardised work procedures and policies.Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing (5s, Material Flow)Understanding of Health and Safety
