Job Description

JOB TITLE: Production ManagerLOCATION: Clevedon, BristolSALARY: up to £45,000WAY OF WORKING: Full time | Permanent | 08:30 - 17:00THE BUSINESS:C4S Search are proud to be partnering with a sustainable energy company. Their main focus is manufacturing solar powered hybrid generators which can run on diesel and solar power. They are often used in construction, new housing builds and with the highwaysagency.THE PRODUCTION MANAGER OPPORTUNITY:

  • Maximise the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing process to fulfil customers orders as required.
  • Manage all production schedules & capacity planning projections as per product specifications and delivery deadlines.
  • Oversee the purchasing and throughput of stock in line with production capacity and output.
  • Work closely with other department heads and team managers to formulate production objectives as orders are received.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimum service levels are being delivered.
  • Instil best administrative practices across the purchasing and assembly operation to further improve ways of working.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
  • Proven experience in production management within a comparable role.
  • Deep knowledge of best manufacturing practices in order to maximise output.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and workload management skills with the ability to work with a variety of key stakeholders and to strict deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills with a proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to learn and implement new production management systems as required.
