Mechanical Production TechnicianClevedon, SomersetContract Basis ongoing long termEarlies Shift Option £14.62 PAYE, Umbrella £19.06. Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00Lates Shift Option £15.89 PAYE, Umbrella £20.71. Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00Mechanical production technician sought within a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronic industries.The role will be suited to experienced mechanical assembly based production operatives with significant complex mechanical assembly experience. You will have worked within a manufacturing environment working to detailed mechanical drawings and be used KPIand quality based production objectives. The role will be based around detailed mechanical sub and final assemblies for specialised safety equipment. You will require knowledge of assembling equipment similar to pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics.Use of basic hand tools and familiarity with plumbing and pipework. Any basic electrical assembly experience ideal but not essential.The company has been trading for many decades in Somerset and as part of a global group of engineering brands has huge investment and further expansion to the manufacturing facility is planned enabling further growth to local employment and long term jobsecurity for all employees, progression to higher skilled roles will be made available with training if desired.The role:* Complex mechanical assembly of specialised safety equipment to detailed mechanical drawings and build instructions* Work to strict productivity and quality objectives whilst adhering to all safety practicesThe Person:* Extensive mechanical assembly experience within a complex equipment manufacturing setting.* Willing to work either an earlies or lates shift option
