Mechanical EngineerClevedon£30,000 to £34,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance + Health Cash Plan + Cycle to Work Scheme + Free Parking + Subsidised Canteen + Learning and Development Opportunities + Pension + HybridPERMANENTMechanical Engineer sought within a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronics industries.The role will be suited to a qualified mechanical engineer who is looking to grow and develop their skill and knowledge within the manufacturing and production industry. You will have knowledge of product development and some understanding of product design.Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out design and development of new sub-assembly products and supporting the introduction of this product to the production team. You will provide detailed documentation, including engineeringdrawings and designs to specified quality and cost. Liaising with the product development and design team, you will play a key role in ensuring all engineering activities around the product is met to high company standards.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who are true specialists and market leaders in their field. They are a well-respected, progressive manufacturer who supply to a range of industries.The Role:*Support the introduction of a new product to the production team*Create 3D models and drawings to support all stages of production*Carry out risk assessments required throughout the execution of the project*Ensure all designs meet specificationThe Person:*Must have a Mechanical engineering degree or hold other relevant engineering qualification*Experience in 2D and 3D CAD skills (CATIA, Visio and AutoCAD) but all experiences will be considered*Understanding of manufacturing design and design for assembly
