My Bristol based client is currently recruiting for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to work on their modernisation project, migrating on-premises infrastructure and applications to Azure based services.The right candidate will be confident working independently and have experience in Azure migration.Role: Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Hybrid – Bristol (can be on site 1-2 a month)Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum + great benefitsDuration: 2 years – high possibility of perm employmentSkillsets:• You’ll have the ability to build, maintain and monitor of Azure Infrastructure- and Platform-as-a-Service environments, including building resilient and highly available services.• The role requires you to have an awareness of virtualisation technologies – specifically VMWare & Hyper-V• Experience of migrating on-premises systems to Azure, such as SQL database applications and web-based application.• Management and support of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory within a Hybrid environment.• Ideally you will have knowledge of Information Security principles and practices to support the Information Security team in responding to and troubleshooting security incidents.If you feel you are interested in this role and would like to discuss it further, please apply with your most up to date CV ASAP.Best wishes,
