Electrical Production TechnicianClevedon, North SomersetContract Basis, ongoing long term.Earlies shift PAYE £16:69, Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00Electrical Production Technician sought within a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronic industries.The role will be suited to qualified electrical technicians/engineers from any manufacturing, production or service and repair industry background. You will have experience with skilled panel wiring, cable assembly and ability to interpret detailed schematics.You will hold a relevant formal electrical qualification and the 18th edition wiring regulations ideally, although those with significant experience may still be considered without.The role will involve sub and final assembly of complex electromechanical safety machinery used in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing environments globally. This is a KPI and quality driven role in a target-based production environment. As a skilledelectrical technician, you will be targeted on passing final assemblies to test that come through with minimal electromechanical faults identified, ability to work at a productive pace but with high quality standards is key.The company has been trading for many decades in Somerset and as part of a global group of engineering brands has huge investment and further expansion to the manufacturing facility is planned to enable further growth to local employment and long-term jobsecurity for all employees, progression to higher skilled roles will be made available with training if desired.The role:* Sub and final assembly of complex electromechanical safety equipment for use in global electronic and semiconductor manufacturing environments* Work to productivity KPIs and strict quality and safety standards* Follow complex electrical schematics and mechanical engineering drawingsThe Person:* Skilled Electrical Technician from any manufacturing, production, or service/repair background* Will ideally hold a relevant formal electrical qualification and the 18th edition wiring regulations
