Job Description

Administrator - Clevedon 40 hours a week Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break)Initially 4 month maternity cover but could be longer term for the right person.Our client provides Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to power generation, aerospace and marine industries. They are looking for an Administrator to join their team, working on site in their Clevedon office.Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable administration experience, be organised and be comfortable communicating with technicians and engineers, so if you feel you tick all the boxes, this could well be the role you’ve been waiting for!What would the Administrator do

  • Assisting with Invoicing, costing, quotation, monthly reports as instructed by manager.
  • Updating hard copy training files with updated certificates
  • Liaising with customers to ascertain their requirements.
  • Liaising with suppliers and generating purchase order.
  • Liaising with the account department if required on matters of invoicing & credit control.
  • Assisting the Test House with technical report filing.
  • Maintaining a personnel filing system.
  • Making Travel arrangements for UK and overseas tasks – booking flight, ferries ect.
  • Booking medical and eye tests.
  • Updating Holiday records.
  • General Administration duties including incoming and outgoing mail duties.
  • Answering and diverting telephone calls
What skills and experience will the Administrator need
  • Administrative experience in a busy office using a range of office systems
  • Methodical, well organised and able to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and forward thinking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and work well in a team environment.
  • SAP experience would be beneficial but is not essential
