Please ensure you have the right to live and work in the UK before applying.Job title: Maintenance PersonLocation: Kenmore, 100 Whitcliffe Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 3DSRate Of Pay: £10.42 Per HourShift Patterns: 14hrs a Week, Part time, PermanentInformation about the Role:Working in General Maintenance in Kenmore your duties will include the following:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
  • Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
  • Using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
Information about the Service:We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, acquired brain injury and motor neurone disease.Our teams are highly skilled and trained to deliver specialist and complex nursing care and have significant experience with tracheostomy, PEG care, catheter care, wound management and the provision of end of life care. The full-time support we provide isflexible and designed to help build skills, inspire confidence and encourage people to live more independently.Necessary Experience or Qualifications:Someone who has a real passion for maintenance and high-quality work.
  • Proven maintenance experience.
  • Must be a Driver with a Current and Valid Driving License.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to the work in the UK.
  • Good working knowledge of industry legislation and safe practices.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
