Job Description

Early Years Practitioner Veritas Education are currently looking for a full-time early years practitioner to work within a private Day Nursery in Leeds.The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated and be committed to delivering a very high standard of quality care and learning opportunities for children. We are looking for an individual who has a positive warm approach who is also able to workas part of a team.Your role will include:

  • Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS.
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing of the children at all times
  • To plan and prepare activities relating to childrens interests and abilities.
  • To be a reflective practitioner having an input into quality improvement processes
  • Promote positive attitudes to learning.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and values throughout the school.
