New opportunity not to be missed! Here at Dalesview we are looking for a Part TimeCommunication Team Lead to join our Lifestyle activity team based in Clayton-Le-Woods. In return we are offering a competitive hourly rate of £15per hour. You will be required to work 15 hours a week over 3 days (exact hours to be discussed) and will be required to travel between our services in Clayton Le Woods, Chorley and Leyland to carry out your duties.Dalesview has been established for over 30 years and holds an Investors in People gold award. We provide specialist supported living and residential services for adults with severe learning and physical disabilities.At Dalesview much effort, thought and hard work goes into doing something that is really very simple. Key duties of our Communication Team Lead:

Reviewing and updating communication guides, one page profiles and behaviour support plans
Planning and the delivery of communication and activity training in services, including running the signing group
Monitoring care goals within our services
Supporting communication and lifestyle input in annual client reviews
Monitoring activities and ensuring appropriate records are completed including writing detailed reviews

Our ideal Communication Team Lead will have:

Experience working with people who have severe learning disabilities and associated physical disabilities
Knowledge of and ability to understand the communication needs of people with severe learning disabilities
Knowledge and understanding of person-centred approaches and positive behaviour support
Knowledge and understanding of autism
An understanding of CQC requirements
Excellent communication skills with written English to A-Level standard
PTLLS or an equivalent qualification
The ability to work within a team
Good IT and organisational skills with a flexible and creative approach
Full drivers licence would be desirable
