M4 Recruitment are hiring a Machine tool service engineer for our Client based in bristol.The ideal candidate will likely be apprentice trained and will have spent their career in an industrial environment. They will have a sound knowledge of all things mechanical and ideally also have some electrical knowledge too. They will be familiar withfault finding of machine tool or industrial plant systems ideally including CNC control systems, but hydraulic & pneumatic systems and drive trains are a must. This role is a varied and flexible role.Duties will include:To go to customer sites to decommission machinery purchased for stock, or to install machinery sold by us. To provide first line on site breakdown and or service functions. Additionally, the successful candidate will join our in-house machinery preparationteam to help receiving both new and used machine tools into the showroom, help to install them in our showroom, help power them up & identifying any issues on receipt and to prepare the machinery for customer demonstration ad ultimate dispatch.The successful candidate will be provided with a skill related monthly salary, (range to be agreed and experience related, but likely to be £33,000 to £38,000 per annum range)plus overtime if needed, use of a service van, a company bonus scheme, a company pension scheme. 5 weeks annual paid leave, plus statutory holiday days.
