Job Description

Head of Expansion Location: Southeast/Southwest/Midlands/North/London/Scotland/Remote Salary: £35,000-£45,000The Company:Our client is proud to be the UKs fastest-growing car & fleet washing and servicing platform. They are building the technology, techniques, and workforce to bring the car washing industry into the modern era with a digital and sustainable approach.The Role:After enjoying several years of sustained growth, our client are ready to springboard nationally and internationally. Acting as a key decision maker and on the ground champion of the company, this role is for an intrepid individual who can pioneer theirgrowth into new areas. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of establishing multiple service types in new cities and towns across the UK and abroad, including research and groundwork in new territories, building fresh teams and helping them flourish.Initially very hands on, youd look to quickly build a team around you as the expansion accelerates to achieve nationwide coverage and our first international city launch by early 2023.Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, implement and own strategy for finding and executing new areas to launch their services
  • Sell company as a vision and a concept to new potential partners, entrepreneurs and employees in new territories
  • Analyse customer segment data, demographics, search, and market trends and assess potential new launch areas and price points
  • Travel to new cities and be the first point of contact for new team members, reporting back to the main business
  • Build and train local teams in new territories, alongside your own expansion team
  • Define and implement key performance indicators and metrics for expansion progress and success
  • Assess and select appropriate property for new facilities
  • Work with CFO on correct new legal structures with properties and teams
Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years commercial experience at a high growth business
  • Driven innovator, who can use process to achieve results
  • Can work autonomously, likes being hands on and is not afraid to travel
  • Thrives in a dynamic fast changing environment
  • Great relationship builder and communicator
  • Experience in strategic decision making and delivery
  • You have ambition, drive, and a desire to wear multiple hats and gain experience in multiple business areas
  • Experience in successfully launching a new or existing services into new areas
  • Demonstrable project management and hiring experience
  • Experience understanding regulatory and legal world is a plus
