As part of their commitment to excellence, they are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join the team.Position Overview: As a Senior Care Assistant at, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our nursing staff and other care professionals to ensure that residentsreceive high-quality care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.Key Responsibilities:

Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support residents with mobility issues, including using mobility aids and assisting with transfers.
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist residents with feeding if necessary.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide companionship and emotional support.
Monitor residents health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
Assist with therapy and exercise routines as directed by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Uphold the dignity, privacy, and rights of residents at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification preferred.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly individuals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
