Your efforts will directly contribute to the mission of inspiring the next generationof role models and leaders.Key Responsibilities:*Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and execute effective strategies to attract, screen, and welcome volunteers.*Engagement and Retention: Cultivate strong relationships with volunteers, offering guidance, support, and recognition.*Volunteer Coordination: Match volunteers to roles that align with their skills, interests, and availability.*Training and Development: Organise training sessions and workshops.*Communication and Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders to facilitate information sharing, coordinate activities, and promote a collaborative environment.*Database Management: Maintain accurate volunteer records, databases, and tracking systems to monitor volunteer engagement and assess their impact.*Event Support: Collaborate closely with programme managers to ensure events receive the volunteer support required, providing guidance and supervision as necessary.*Evaluation and Reporting: Collect valuable feedback from volunteers, assess the effectiveness of the volunteer programme, and provide regular reports to management.Skills and Experience:*Experience in coordinating volunteers, preferably within a non-profit or charity setting.*Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.*A deep passion for STEAM education and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.*Proficiency in using volunteer management software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.*The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.If this sounds like the role for you, then we would love to hear back.
