Job Description

Quality, Health & Safety Environment Assistant - Professional ServicesCity - hybrid£30,000 - £35,000My client is a leading professional services firm based in the City. They are looking for aFacilities, Health & Safety Executiveto support the Quality, Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) team with implementing and maintaining efficient QHSE management systems.You will be working alongside the Health and Safety Manager to ensure all health and safety processes and inline with statutory regulation standard to ensure a safe and secure working environment for employees, clients and visitors. This is a role with lotsof prospect to grow within the organisation. You will have at least 12 - 18months work experience in a similar roleThis role supports all sites including UK and Dublin.THE ROLE

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to QHSE policies, procedures, and records.
  • Assist in the development and updating of QHSE manuals, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and assist with annual audits to ensure compliance with applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Assist in identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist QHSE Manager in ensuring firm achieve ISO 45001 accreditation and help maintain management system.
  • Support in the development and delivery of QHSE training programs for employees.
  • Assist in promoting awareness of QHSE policies and procedures throughout the organization.
  • Support the QHSE Manager in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of QHSE initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on QHSE performance for Safety Working Group meetings
  • Manage updates to contents on the QHSE intranet page and ensuring Health and Safety notices are up to date.
  • Support in the creation, advertisement & implementation of Health & Safety Campaigns.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QHSE processes and procedures.
THE PERSON
  • Previous experience in a similar role, 12 – 18 months minimum
  • Strong knowledge working with UK and Ireland QHSE regulations and standards
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Attention to detail
  • IOSH/NEBOSH – highly desirable
  • Proficient using Microsoft office packages
