Job Description

Arthur is partnered with a Lloyds market insurancecompany who is hiringan Underwriting Controls Analystto join their Underwriting Controls team.You will report directly into the Underwriting Controls Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the relevant underwriting activities follow the businesses policies and standards. Day to day you will:

  • Assist the Underwriting Controls Manager in developing and enhancing underwriting control reports, to ensure the business adheres to all regulatory and control requirements.
  • Work closely with the Underwriting teams, being the first point of contact for all queries relating to: licensing, sanctions, and other regulatory issues.
  • Managing the investigation and completion of the underwriting control reports, on a monthly/ quarterly basis.
  • Ensure that underwriting procedures are consistent with the relevant underwriting policies and standards.
  • Identify areas where underwriting controls need to be improved and assist with the implementation of these improvements.
We are looking to speak with individuals that have previous insurance experience from an underwriting controls background looking for a new challenge and keen to be part of a collaborative team.You must have good working knowledge of excel with proven ability in creating clear, accurate and detailed reports.Full support will be given from your managerto develop your insurance career further.
