Job Description

Test Analyst - AppiumHybrid Working - London - 2 days a week on site.Financial Services.Loriens Banking Client are currently looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join the existing team on an initial 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who is well experienced in working with Technology and Mobile platforms.This role is based in London, working in a Hybrid model of every Monday and Tuesday on site.This role is Inside IR35.What Youll Do:

  • Undertake and enable automated testing activities in all delivery models, including both Waterfall and continuous integration continuous delivery environment (CICD).
  • Make sure repeatable, constant, and consistent quality is built into all phases of the idea to value lifecycle at reduced cost or reduced time to market, ensuring the detection of any defect are identified at the earliest possible moment.
  • Support teams to develop quality solutions reliably and predictably and enable continuous integration and assurance of defect free deployment of customer value.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Hands on experience with Automation Testing
    • Appium with Java
    • Selenium
  • Experience working in Financial Services environment.
  • Contribute to the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end to end quality development function by quality automation using quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Works with colleagues at multiple levels, cross-Domain, Domain, Platform and Feature teams, understanding and analysing testing requirements, including functional requirements, to plan, design, develop & maintain (where necessary) the work required to performand monitor automation testing, building in quality as an integral part of all activities.
  • Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
  • Collaborating with all team members to define and refine the scope of manual and automated testing required, the creation of automated test scripts, user documentation and artefacts resulting in stable, persistent, and repeatable automation testing andenabling continuous, delivery, early feedback and reflection and the ability to improve whilst still in the lower cost of the development lifecycle. Tooling experience using Jira, Bitbucket, Zephyr and Confluence
  • Knowledge of latest tools such as Perfecto, Saucelab, Leap work Zephyr Squad on Cloud an advantage.
  • Writing Behavioural Driven Development scripts (BDD) and parametrising data also an advantage
  • Experience in Regression & In Sprint automation testing using the latest tools as recommended by enterprise tooling framework & Accessibility testing to W3C accessibility standards.A strong sense of personal ownership/responsibility for the work they analyseandmanage.
