Systematix is currently looking for a Technology Lead to lead a team of experts on a challenging and transformational project.ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is a global Financial Services company experiencing dramatic growth. They are looking for a Technology Lead to lead a team of up to 25 professionals. This position requires strong leadership, experience in building, deploying and operating mobileapps, APIs and web apps. The chosen candidate must be able to prioritize their time and execute their responsibilities with minimal supervision while keeping pace with a rapid development timeline.ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading and working with a team of software developers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the software development process, quality, and meeting clear performance measures (KPIs).

• Collaborating with the development team and provide hands-on coding skills, including code reviews and design.

• Continuously review and identify improvements in the SDLC / Agile Method to ensure maximum productivity, velocity, and quality utilizing tools and processes effectively.

• Execute against established strategic business plans into a well-defined set of technology deliverables that meet the business objectives.

• Ensure appropriate tooling to meet the development needs.

• Maintain an understanding of IT trends to assess and adapt as appropriate to support the evolving needs of the business and our customers.

• Create a positive working culture which will achieve the business goals and objectives.

• Be a mentor to the team, effective use of personal development plans and provision of coaching & development opportunities.

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate must have at least 8 years in the IT industry inclusive of 4 years leading a development team.
• Demonstratable fundamentals and knowledge of .NET technologies with a strong focus on C# as a programming language.
• Strong experience working with microservices and event-driven architecture in a cloud-native environment.
• Good understanding of GoF Design Patterns, Enterprise Design Patterns, SOLID principles, secure coding practices and Clean Code principles.
• Strong experience with building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Significant experience in building, deploying and operating a secure, scalable, resilient and performant, enterprise-grade platform.
• Knowledge of best practices in solution architecture and application design.
• Experience of working in cross-functional agile teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in building, deploying and operating financial-services-grade applications and platforms.
• Knowledge of and practical expertise with core AWS Services (AWS Lambda, Cognito, AppSync, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFront, etc.)
• Experience of promoting modern SDLC practices and DevSecOps for a high-performance engineering team of up to 25 professionals.
• Experience in frontend technologies like Flutter and React.
• Experience in Test Automation tech stack for APIs, as well as web and mobile apps.

THE ROLEThis is a 6-month contract role to be performed in the London, UK office, onsite, with a strong potential for renewal.
