A Lloyds Managing Agent is recruiting for a Syndicate Accountant to fill a newly created position.Reporting to the Syndicate Finance Manager and supervising one member of staff, the successful applicant will be responsible for the filing of all LloydsRegulatory returns for Lloyds Syndicates, including annual returns, quarterly returns, US and Canadian Reporting (including schedules F&P), US and Canadian SIS, preparing Syndicate Management Accounts, planning and production of Syndicate annual report andaccounts, management information and financial schedules and monthly and quarterly accounting information as required, contributing to the development of systems for syndicate reporting, assisting in the migration of key tasks to syndicate personnel and tomonitor the accuracy of this data plus ad hoc finance projects as required.Applicants will ideally be qualified accountants with familiarity and experience of Lloyds reporting requirements e.g. working knowledge of QMA/B returns, US/Can Reporting and SolvencyII returns, have solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and sound knowledge of IT systems especially Excel.
