Job Description

Role: Sybase EngineerIndustry: Banking Rate: Up to 720pd via UmbrellaDuration: 12 months initiallyApplication closing date: 14/01/2024Location and working policy: City of London, 2/3 days per week in officeRequirements: Sybase ASE, CI/CD, Jenkins/GITA bank are looking for a contract Sybase Engineer via an Umbrella company to join a team of Sybase experts and infrastructure engineers responsible for certifying new versions and features of the product.Youll primarily be responsible for helping certify features asked for by application teams around the firm and working to deliver those features.Requirements

  • Experience working with the Sybase ASE platform either from a development, application support or DBA context
Nice to have - not essential
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, Jenkins/GIT etc
