Job Description

Ride On Entertainment is expanding! They need YOU to join the growing team as a Service Technician, making sure that character rides can continue to provide endless fun.As well as earnings of up to £30k per annum, the successful applicant will be rewarded for their dedication with 25 days’ holiday (plus Bank Holidays), a company van provided, and the opportunity of a long-term career with a thriving company with ambitionsplans for the future.Service TechnicianEast London and Kent

Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKRide On Entertainment is one of the UKs leading character childrens ride manufacturer and operator. We have many units sited in key shopping centres and retail parks throughout the UK.We are looking for a Service Technician to visit sites in the South East London, Essex and Kent regions to ensure our rides look and perform at their best.Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and maintaining entertainment vending machines
  • Traveling to various retail locations in London and the South East
  • Lifting and manoeuvring machines, installing them in shopping centres
  • Performing minor maintenance and fault finding on the machines
Working hours:The daily routine starts between 5am – 6am depending on the distance of the shopping centre you are starting at on a given day. Working in Shopping Centres means we have to move our equipment prior to opening.The remainder of the day will be spent driving to around 3 – 4 other shopping centres are visited depending on the number of machines at each location. Your day will generally finish between 2pm - 3pm.You will be required to work every other Saturday (not early starts). Your day off would land during the week on the weeks you work a Saturday.Experience:This is a truly outstanding opportunity for someone who is driven for success. Children love our rides and you will be crucial in making sure those rides are functioning perfectly. When your work is done, you have the satisfaction of knowing that familiesend their shopping trips with happy children.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling
  • Driving experience and basic electrical knowledge advantageous
  • Good communication and presentation skills
