Senior Reinsurance Technician - London (Hybrid)Job Outline:To manage all post-placement activity relating to the parts of the outwards reinsurance programme assigned by the Reinsurance Operations Manager.Main dutiesKeeping accurate and up to date records of outwards reinsurance EOCs on systems.Proportional Reinsurance (both facultative and treaty). Production, communication and settlement ofStatements and bordereaux at contractual intervalsProfit Commission statementsCollateral statementsNon-proportional reinsurance. Production, communication and transaction of:Deposit premiumRecoveries & reinstatement premiums adjustments and legal entity allocationNCB calculationsResponding to broker/reinsurer queries promptlyDevelopment of less experienced team membersProducing information including claims information in support of outwards treaty renewalsReview of tasks outsourced to DXC and liaison with themPlay a part in:testing and implementation of new software and processesreview and updating of process and procedure manualsproduction of management informationSkills, Knowledge and Experience:Experience in an outwards reinsurance role within the London marketProblem solving mindsetUsed to working with large amounts of data and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel i.e. used to working with pivot tables, vlookups etc.XL Pro or other automated outwards reinsurance systemKnowledge of the Lloyds market systems and processes* Further information on this role and package available on enquiryRequired skills
