Job Title: Senior Procurement ManagerDuration: 12 monthsRate: £300-500 per day outside IR35 (dependent upon experience)Location: central London based (3 days in office per week/2 days home working)Key role in managing spend and services within the Professional Services category (which for the avoidance of doubt shall include but be limited to Contingent Workers, Training, Legal, Travel, Publications and Subscriptions, Employee Benefits, Recruitment Services) * Provides category expertise, leadership, and ownership across all Procurement activities for the assigned category* Within the Professional Services category, owns and delivers the category strategies including savings and benefits * Manages big ticket (i.e. high spend, risk and/or complexity) sourcing projects * Translates business needs into a clear sourcing strategy* Develops and implements SRM strategies with key category suppliers and mitigates risk across third party suppliers* Ensures optimisation of category supply base and where possible, aggregation, consolidation and reduction of spend / supplierThe Successful Candidate:* Insurance industry experience is a must (Lloyds Insurance highly advantageous)* Time spent within a similar role working across procurement/contracts* Ideally suited to a fast-paced individual who would be keen to take on a new challengeIf the above role is of interest, please apply online with a up to date CV copy.
