Job Description

Have you got a background in Java Software Development and moved into Testing Senior Java SDET - Leading London FinTechLocation: London, 2 days a week on-siteSalary: £80,000 - £110,000 (depending on experience - multiple positions available at different levels!)We are fortunate enough to be working with a London based FinTech who are seeking an experienced SDET skilled in hands-on Core Java coding and Automation testing. Your role will essentially act as an extension of the Engineering team, so strong Java codingand rest-assured API experience is a must with extensive Automation testing experience using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber and Cypress.In order to be considered as a Senior Java SDET, you must have the following:

  • Computer Science degree
  • Java coding/development experience is essential
  • Extensive experience in Automation Testing
  • Experience testing backend systems or APIs
  • Experience with Agile test practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Your responsibilities in this Senior Java SDET position will include:
  • Constructing and executing API test cases
  • Developing and implementing test automation frameworks (APIs and UI)
  • Producing test packs for repeat automation or scheduled performance tests
  • Ensuring the use of test automation across relevant product teams meets standards set by the test strategy team
