Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS CDK IaC) London / WFH to £80kAre you an experienced DevOps Engineer looking for an opportunity to take ownership and progress your careerYou could be joining a global events management company that specialise in large scale corporate and prestige event planning and enjoying perks such as trips to the Dubai and a global event of your choice (fully paid for!).As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will take ownership of maintaining and improving the AWS infrastructure and will collaborate with the team in Dubai who manage the Azure cloud estate. Youll also be responsible for building out the IaC capabilities (currentlyCloudFormation), managing CI/CD processes and leading the DevOps function for the business. Youll be working with complex data centric systems that require high levels of security to protect the identity of dignitaries who attend eventsLocation / WFH:Youll join the team in the London three days a week with the other two work from home in a hybrid model. Youll also be able to enjoy fully paid for trips to the Dubai office 2-3 times a year to met up with the team there.Requirements:

  • You have strong DevOps skills and experience and are likely to come from a SysAdmin background
  • You have a strong knowledge of AWS including AWS CDK
  • You have a strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and experience with AWS CloudFormation
  • You have a good knowledge of Cloud Security and are able to build this into the infrastructure
  • You have a good understanding of CI/CD processes
  • You have experience with DevOps tools including Ansible, Puppet and Chef
  • Youre collaborative and pragmatic, able to build strong working relationships and lead others
  • Ideally you will also have knowledge of Azure and Python coding / scripting skills
