Job Description

Semi Senior Accountant

  • Salary up to £35,000
Reed are pleased to be recruiting for a vibrant firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Managers specialising in Music and Entertainment. They areseeking a Semi-senior Accountant to join their team. The firm are client-centred, and prides itself on listeningto their clients and meeting their needs while fulfilling statutory and legal requirements. As the firm expands to meet the demands of the modern music industry, they are looking to grow our team with individuals who have high standards and excellent qualificationsfrom any discipline. Day to Day of the role:
  • Prepare statutory accounts and produce management accounts.
  • Complete personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Approve supplier and employee payment runs.
  • Conduct bookkeeping and prepare and file VAT returns.
  • Respond to client queries and advise on specific accounting matters.
  • Assist with audits as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Partly qualified – AAT, ACCA, or an ACA trainee.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in the preparation of management and statutory accounts.
  • Confident and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and client liaison skills - strong team player.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
