Job Description

OVERVIEW Our client who have been around for 30+ years are looking for an Renewals Account Handler to join their team based in London on a permanent basis. They are a Lloyds broker that offers a range of insurance products include, terrorism, Motor fleet, Contingency,Specie, Financial and Professional Risks, Liability, Property, International Property, Private Clients, Product Recall, International Financial and Professional risks and Personal Accidents.Responsibilities:

  • Renewal Management: Coordinate the renewal process for existing insurance policies, including gathering necessary information, preparing renewal quotes, and communicating renewal terms to clients in a timely manner
  • Client Communication: Serve as the point of contact for their retail broker network, which includes 1500 brokers across the UK
  • Broking: Negotiate with underwriters in Lloyds and company markets
  • Retention Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to maximize client retention rates. Analyze client accounts, identify potential risks or gaps in coverage, and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Policy Administration: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy changes, and renewal transactions in the company’s database system. Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and demonstrating a deep understanding of their insurance needs. Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims professionals, to delivercomprehensive solutions that meet client expectations
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
  • Must have experience working as an Account Handler in property
  • 2+ years experience in Account Handling at a Lloyds Broker
