QA Tester SQL

Job Title:Quality Assurance TesterJob Purpose:End to end testing of any solution including the functional and technical areas.Main Responsibilities:

Identify the root cause of the defects found and finding ways to mitigate those issues again in the future.
Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
Identify the potential ways to improve performance of the existing SSIS packages/stored procedures.
Handle multiple projects at the same time.
Responsible for maintaining the delivery standards across the team.
Automating the back end tests using automation tools.
Creating automated unit tests which run and identify whether to push the build or revert it.
Creating XSD for XML inputs.
Front end/API testing and Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers.
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

Experience /Tools:

5+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
Proficient in MS SQL Server 2017
Working in MS VS 2017 for creating DB Test projects
Working in SSRS / Faststats for reporting purposes.
Working with API and XML Inputs.
Knowledge in TFS, Continuous Integration and TDD
Ability to switch to Functional Automation Testing using Selenium
Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication.
Knowledge about the Smart Cast/Watson system.
Prior experience working on Campaigns.
