Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager (with Data Project Management Experience)Location: London We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a specialization in data management to join our clients dynamic team in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managingdata-centric projects within the insurance sector, demonstrating strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data-focused insurance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, claims, actuarial, IT, and data analytics to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and managing risks and issues effectively, with a specific focus on data-related challenges.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, prioritize tasks, and make strategic decisions to drive project success.
  • Utilize data management best practices to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of insurance data throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices, implementing improvements to enhance data project delivery and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Data Management, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the insurance industry, with a specific focus on data project management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and tools, with experience in data governance, data quality, and data integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar applications.
