Job Description

  • Payroll Consultant ( UK & EMEA) - Financial Services
  • City of London - Onsite 2 days a week
  • 3 month contract
  • Inside of IR35
My client, a large Insurer, is looking for an EMEA Payroll Consultant, who will support the Payroll Team manage the monthly payroll cyles to ensure that the monthly payroll cycle for one UK (circa 1300 Employees) and ten other EMEA based payrolls (circa500 Employees) are accurate and processed in a timely manner.Key Responsibility
  • Manage processing payment of all employees in the client offices across our EMEA locations.
  • Manage shadow payrolls for expatriate employees, working with the client tax advisors.
  • Ensure the full payroll cycle through to and including tax year end for all countries is completed accurately.
  • Keep a good working relationship with UK and EMEA payroll vendors.
  • Work with Finance to ensure that total Payroll costs are captured and booked correctly.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, raising any issues with the Payroll Manager where required.
  • Respond timely to all employee queries.
  • Day to day support to UK and International HR and Branch Managers on all payroll related matters.
  • Support the wider HR Team on projects, to improve efficiencies within our Department and the Employee experience.
Skills and Experience
  • UK payroll experience, preferably within the financial services industry
  • EMEA outsourced payroll experience strongly desired in at least one of our European jurisdictions (France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, UAE)
  • Vendor Management experience, particularly from a payroll vendor perspective
  • Experience working with multiple locations desirable
  • SD Worx or iiPAY experience is preferred, but not essential.
