Job Description

Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Cutting-edge FinTech Innovation - London (Hybrid) - £110K Are you captivated by the complexities of cutting-edge FinTech solutions trusted by top-tier banks and global trading entitiesWe are collaborating with a distinguished client specializing in cloud-based messaging archival solutions. Currently, we are eagerly anticipating the addition of a Java expert with a background in developing complex, high-performance applications at theLead level to our dynamic team.As a Lead SDET, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Constructing advanced testing frameworks from the ground up.
  • Playing a pivotal role in defining automation test cases aligned with diverse product requirements.
  • Expanding and maintaining shared testing libraries.
  • Providing substantial input into overall test processes and life cycles.
  • Leading a small, dynamic team of testers.
To be considered for this Lead SDET role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working as a tester/SDET.
  • Strong programming ability and knowledge of Core Java.
  • Background in testing complex back-ends and APIs.
  • A strong understanding of testing best practices.
  • Previous experience in team leadership.
