Job Description

A leading Wealthtech platform solutions provider is expanding its Operations Team and is looking to hire a Junior Investment Administrator due to year-on-year growth. You will receive a starting salary of up to £22,000 per annum and will be based in theheart of the City, with hybrid working available.This role would suit a recent graduate or school leaver who may currently be working in their first admin or operations role and perhaps looking for a new role in a company where they will have the opportunity to learn and grow their career in either administration,operations and/or compliance.As Junior Investment Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the post received on a daily basis and filing all post
  • Scanning and electronically storing all post
  • Recording cheques received
  • Processing cheques at the bank
  • Recording of cash received onto client accounts
  • Processing of different asset types (equities/bonds/funds)
  • Processing of different account types (GIAs/SIPPs/ISAs)
  • ISA management: maintaining correct ISA documentation, posting ISA subscriptions,
  • Sending ISA transfer history forms, annual ISA returns
  • Processing outgoing payments
  • Dealing with ad hoc customer queries
We are looking for a Junior Investment Administrator who has the following skills and experience:
  • Industry experience of investment operations
  • Previous experience of dealing with the full transfer lifecycle
  • Understanding of different asset types (equities/bonds/funds)
  • Understanding of different account types (GIAs/ISAs/SIPPs)
  • Previous experience of working for a custodian or an investment management firm
  • Industry exams advantageous
  • Great IT skills including MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Investment Management software (Tercero/Crest/Nexen/FNZ/UnaVista) advantageous
