Job Description

Java Developer Lead£70,000 - £75,000Hybrid - London CityTHE COMPANY: We are looking to bring on board a Java Developer Lead to join a global online entertainment company. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and contribute towards the backend of the digital frameworks and create quality products. Youwill be working closely inhouse alongside the QA and IT team, looking to take full ownership, develop digital services and protect the company’s systems against risk. THE ROLE:

  • You will need to design and develop systems for real-time, high transactional and mission critical business needs
  • You will collaborate with DevOps to troubleshoot complex issues and promote continuous improvement in the code efficiency and performance
  • You will work largely independently and responsible for progress of the casino aggregator integration project
THE PERSON:
  • At least 2+ years’ experience developing server-side Java applications for Realtime, high transactional systems
  • At least 3 + years’ experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
  • At least 1 + years’ experience with Scala
  • Experience with 3rd party API integrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in agile development methodologies, (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Experience collaborating and building relationships with remote teams
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence toolsets
