Do you have a passion for the media industry and want to help influence decisions through research & insight projects. Do you want to work for a leading media organisation, where you work closely with stakeholders If so, this could be the role for you. Based in a trendy London location, our client boasts modern and open plan offices, a professional and friendly workforce and a great working culture. The company prides itself on the brands it owns - household brand names, that will be familiar to many. They are now looking for an Insight Executive to join their research & insight team, to focus on their magazine publications. The Role In this role, you will be working closely with the Insight Manager and a Senior Insight Executive, executing a range of research & insight programmes, across both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. You will be working closely with the marketing and editorial teams, showing them how this research can feed into the magazine content. Key Duties Include:- - Designing primary research projects, to investigate business objectives and how these can be influenced through the voice of the consumer - Managing and overseeing brand tracking projects and highlighting key changes - Utilising existing data sources, conducting analysis and reporting back on these - Keeping up to date with key market changes and competitor intelligence, to inform the business of trends - Overseeing qualitative projects, in partnership with agencies - Pulling together all of the information and providing actionable insights internally The Candidate - Educated to degree level, with a solid grounding in market research (experience in media would be beneficial)- Basic skills in quantitative research methodologies, with experience in writing questionnaires, data checking and pulling out key findings - Ability to manage multiple projects at one time- Understanding of industry tools such as TGI, Telmar and Mintel - A positive can-do attitude, and the ability to think outside the box and come up with new ideas
