Job Description

Arthur Financial have partnered with an establish London market insurer to support with their search for a highly technical IFRS 17 Accountant, for an initial 12 month fixed term contract starting ASAP! In the role you will support the businesses transitionof IFRS 17 from a project to BAU phase and will be responsible for project work to enhancethe process and analysis.Main Responsibilities:

  • IFRS 17 transition from project to BAU; internal control design, process mapping, target operating model design and documentation
  • Assist the production and review of IFRS reporting
  • Quarterly consolidated management reporting
  • Production of UKGAAP to IFRS 17 reconciliation
  • Periodic IFRS 17 group reporting templates
  • Preparation of timetables related to IFRS 17 reporting
  • Analysis and commentary to support regular or ad hoc queries related to IFRS 17 reporting
  • Maintain system of internal controls
Skills / Experience Required:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • IFRS 17 project exposure within a Lloyds Syndicate
  • Lloyds of London Syndicate accounting and reporting experience
  • Working knowledge of UKGAAP and Solvency II
  • Advanced Excel skills
