Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, company client iscurrently recruiting for a IBA Account Handler. This role will focus on IBA accounts by providing accounting administration service for business units within our client. This opportunity is on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working.You will be responsible for but not restricted to the below responsibilities:* Provides relevant management information to senior management, when requested* Contributes to project work and when required* Ensures cash matching tasks are completed in a timely manner* Reviews and processes IBA payment requests* Processing of relevant entries onto Group company IBA systems* Reconciles accounts with markets and clients* Performing credit control duties including rendering statements to clients* Resolves accounts queries promptly and efficiently* Keeps informed of all regulatory and legal changes which impacts on the job role* Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems* Responds appropriately to urgent issues as they arise* Develops strong relationships with the Business Units, Suppliers and Markets* Responds to the clients(both internal and external) requirements as appropriateWe are looking for a candidate to:* Have previous experience of working as an IBA Technician* Have reinsurance broker experience* Have Solid understanding of processes and procedures within the insurance market* Able to manipulate and understand financial data* Have attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation and to file documents appropriately* Ability to work effectively within a team* Have prioritisation and organisational skills* Be competent with IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders* Able to undertake and demonstrate competence in technical training, as required by the industry regulatorPlease note: the client has multiple office locations which can be worked out of.If this sounds like a role for you, then please apply and suitable applicants will be contacted by a consultant.Required skills
