* Global Medical Publications and Communications Manager - Global Pharma - 6-month contract * My client is a large Global Pharmaceutical company, and they have a position available for a Global Medical Publications and Communications Manager to join their team for an initial 6-month contract. Within this role you will develop and implement the publication strategy and scientific communication plans across the product lifecycle (from R&D to post marketing) and optimize the reach, engagement, and impact of study results, internally and externally,through sophisticated publication packages in line with the therapeutic area objectives and compliance considerations. You will bring scientific and medical research results to the scientific community, healthcare professionals, patients and their caregiverswith integrity and accuracy in a transparent, efficient, effective, and timely manner. You will manage a budget and manage external vendors in the development of publications. In order to apply for the Global Medical Publications and Communications Manager contract, you should possess experience of working in the Pharmaceutical Industry or a communications agency with proven experience in publication planning and project management,coordinating the production and delivery of multiple documents. You will have proven experience of scientific medical writing in a business environment and ideally knowledge of neuroscience and rare diseases. You will be strategic and have experience of workingin a matrix team with strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and sensitivity to cultural differences. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, especially in the scientific field is a prerequisite.
